CHRONICLE OF CHINA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION HO CHI MINH EVENTS

 

Ø  Jan-12th-2002, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch was established. The 1st council president of CBAH was general manager of China Construction (S.E.A) Coporation Ltd, Mr.Zhang Pei.

Ø  Jul-8th -2003, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch office moved to Thuan Kieu Plaza.

Ø  Mar-22th-2004, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City held the 2nd council election at Ngan Dinh Sai Gon Riverside Restaurant. The 2nd council president of CBAH was managing director of Dona Newtower Joint Stock Company, Mr.Wu Huai En.

Ø  Mar-16th -2006,The 3rd council of China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch was established. The new 3rd council president was general manager of China Construction (S.E.A) Coporation Ltd, Mr.Zhang Pei.

Ø  May-19th -2007, CBAH organized the lecture activity with the topic was “Vietnam latest progress in economic and trade relations”

Ø  Apr-19th -2008, The 4th council of China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch was established. The 4th council president was general manager of Bank of China Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Mr.Wang Qing Bo.

Ø  May-17th -2008, All members of China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch made donations USD:46648.00  for SiChuan disaster area.

Ø  Sep- 2008, the wedsite of CBAH was opened.

Ø  Dec-12th-2008, CBAH held “China-Vietnam Cooperative exchange” conference.

Ø  Mar-9th-2009, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch warmly welcome Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Embassy of the people's republic of china in Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mr.Sun Guo Xiang visited Ho Chi Minh City.

Ø  Jul-18th -2009, CBAH held the lecture activity conference with topic “Vietnam Trade Law”.

Ø  Dec-26th -2009, CBAH held Christmas party. Consulate-General Of The People's Republic Of China in Ho Chi Minh City Leaders and China Busissen Association council leaders proposed a toast to all members.

Ø  Mar-28th -2010, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch was held 2010 New Year Party and the 5th council election, The 5th council president was general manager of Bank of China Ho Chi Minh City Branch, Mr. Wang Hao.

Ø  Aug-31st -2010, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch sponsored 80 million vnd to Ho Chi Minh City Frienship Association to build 4 houses for the poor.

Ø  Oct-28th -2010, premier of China Mr.Wen Jia Bao visited Vietnam and Chinese enterprises invest in Vietnam.

Ø  Mar-20th -2011, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch 10 years anniversary celebration and 2011 new year party.

Ø  Mar-10th -2012, China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City Branch was held 2012 New Year Party and the 6th council election, The 6th council president was general manager of Bank of Communications HCMC Branch, Ms. Zheng Jia Yi.

Ø  Apr-1st -2012, Opened the membership group on QQ, it was more convenient for members chatting online ,share information. In the end of the year , the members of the group broke through 200 people.

Ø  Apr-15-2012, The 6th council assemblingly held the 1st council meeting, comfirmed the council qualitification of 23 governing units, selected  the board of supervisors, financial advisor, elected more deputy secretary, established member liaison office to assist the members association services

Ø  May-10th - 2012, It was the first time China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City held “members exchange activity”event which provided platform for members to communication and sharing each other. In the end of 2012, CBAH  continuously held “the 6th  members exchange day”.

Ø  Jun-1st-2012, Offers variety of merchants discount in Vietnam for all members. In the end of 2012, the number of discount partner schemes were up to 100.

Ø  Jun-5th -2012, under the supportion of consulate general of the people's republic of china in HCMC, It was the first time, CBAH organized the Chinese enterprised charity auction and charity fair which successfully raised 588,650,984VND, this fund would be used for establishing a charity fund of CBAH.

Ø  Jun-23rd -2012, CBAH held the “Duanwu Festival”party for all members.

Ø  Jul-24th -2012, The 6th council held the second meeting to determine CBAH will hire a professional legal counsel to help members solve some legal questions.

Ø  Jul-28th -2012, nearly 200 chinese enterprisers members and their families had a trip to Malagui forest Garden. They had a great weekend together.

Ø  Sep-1st -2012, CBAH hired a Professional Company in charge of the chamber of Commerce monthly financial audit work.

Ø  Sep-29th -2012, CBAH celebrated the Chinese traditional festival - Mid Autumn Festival party, nearly 200 members attended to this party.

Ø  Oct-1st -2012, CBAH invited some professional lawyer companies to join CBAH, and established lawyer advisory group. It offered legal information and helped members sovle some legal problems.

Ø  Oct-1st -2012, CBAH sponsored  90 million VND for Vietnam Friendship Association to build houses for the poor.

Ø  Oct-23rd -2012, The 6th council held the third meeting to discuss about fund management approach.

Ø  Jan-4th -2013, CBAH released the first quarterly magazines, open a new platform for member communication.

Ø  Jan-12th -2013, The 6th council held the fourth meeting , decided to carry out “ love fund management approach”, organized the charity trip once every two months. Besides that, CBAH added a new council unit in 2013 members meeting.

Ø  Feb-1st -2013, CBAH organized “2013 Lunar New Year Charity Trip” to visit and sponsor 90milion VND for the disable and the poor at Tay Ninh, Binh Duong and HCMC provinces.

Ø  Mar-16th -2014, the 7th council meeting of China Business Association Ho Chi Minh City officially established in 2014 new year party at Grand palace restaurant. On that day, the party had more than 570 members and guests attended. Especially, CBAH had invited Consulate-General Of The People's Republic Of China in Ho Chi Minh City Leaders and special guests include : consul general Mr.Cai Wen Rui, deputy consul general Mr.Zhou Tong, commercial counselor Mr.Li Zhen Ming and the representative of Hongkong, Taiwan, Malaysia chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.

Ø  Mar-16th -2013, CBAH held the 2013 members new year party at Hong Kong restaurant. The guests and members attended to party were over 400 people. It was the biggest number of people which haven’t happened in a previous activities. In the end of the events , CBAH has been having 251 enterprisers,  effectively registered and became CBAH members.

Ø  Jul-19th -2014, CBAH held members exchange activity in July.

Ø  Aug-30th -2014, CBAH celebrated the Chinese traditional festival - Mid Autumn Festival party, nearly 800 members attended to the party. Especially, CBAH had invited Consulate-General Of The People's Republic Of China in Ho Chi Minh City Leaders and special guests include : consul general Mr.Cai Wen Rui, commercial counselor Mr.Li Zhen Ming, the representative of Chinses enterprisers in VN etc.

Ø  Oct-25th -2014, Members exchange Activity in October with 2 topics:Chinese funded enterprises processed developmentin VN and sharing experiences . Nearly 160 members attended to the party.

Ø  Nov-29th -2014, The 21st session of charity event, Consulate-General Of The People's Republic Of China in Ho Chi Minh City Leaders and special guests include : consul general Mr.Cai Wen Rui, deputy consul general Mr.Zhou Tong, president of China Business Association HCMC Mr.Miao Ren Lai and the supervisors of CBAH Mr. Chen Ru Fang. There are 22 countries attended to the party. A total of 1000 people.

Ø  Dec-27th -2014, CBAH organized the 2015 new year party with a topic “Mutual trust, communication, cooperation and win-win”. CBAH had invited Consulate-General Of The People's Republic Of China in Ho Chi Minh City Leaders and special guests include :

-Consul general Mr.Cai Wen Rui and his wife Mrs.Gao Feng Ying,

-Deputy consul general Mr.Zhou Tong,

commercial counselor Mr.Li Zhen Ming,

-President of the Vietnam industry chamber of Commerce HCMC Branch Mr.Vo Tan Thanh,

-President of Business Association Can Tho Province Branch Mr.Vo Hung Dung,

-Vietnamese Fatherland Front committee in HCMC Mr.Le Van Thu.

Nearly 400 members attended to the party.
